Challenge Day Selection Guide

Making the Appropriate Selection

E4A recognises the importance of selecting the right challenge day for your students to meet their needs and expectations. This is equally important for staff development opportunities where time away from normal duties is crucial to operational requirements. To help simplify the selection process the following matrix can be used as a guide:

Meeting the Statutory Requirements
For Work Related Learning and Enterprise

The Qualification and Curriculum Authority have provided guidance for implementing the statutory requirement for “Work-related learning for all students at key stage 4”. E4A have used this guidance to develop a number of challenge days to meet and exceed the statutory requirements. Each challenge day differs to give your student’s wider experience within their work related and enterprise learning. The table below shows an overview of how each E4A challenge day meets the guidance and the statutory requirement.
