Enterprising Work Experience

Improve your job search, CV writing and interview skills. Each student selects from a choice of real jobs. They prepare their CV and cover letter using examples of good practice with experienced mentors to guide them.

The student is then interviewed for their job, having been coached in the most common questions they are likely to be asked.

The interviewer rigorously marks each interviewee’s performance and provides positive feedback.

Alternatively the students can interview each other. This is an excellent learning process as they experience both aspects of the interview. The final session is a group discussion on what went well, what was a problem and actions the student agrees to take away to practice their individual job search skills.
