ClassBubbles Enterprise Education Challenge Days

From over 5 years of working with schools we are constantly looking for ways to make work related learning more fun, more engaging and yet deliver better quality and improve retention. Enterprise Challenge days are all about helping learners find out more about the reality of working in a safe environment, learning by doing, the most effective way to retain your knowledge.

Schools continue to look for value for money and by developing ClassBubbles, E4A has developed a solution that is a fast paced, interactive, engaging Internet based learning environment that incorporates E4A's high quality enterprise education and work releated learning materials. The activities can also act as CPD for your teaching staff.

There are 2 days in this series and they are:

• Create your own Business Challenge (based on the A6 Business Pocket Guide, "How to Create Your Own Successful Business").
• Preparing for Work or Work Experience (based on the A6 Business Pocket Guide, "How to improve your employability opportunities").

A maximum of 30 teams are allowed but these can be individuals or teams of 6 within classrooms. Internet access is required and each team or individual will need access to a notebook or computer.

The day includes a remote business expert who "drives" the session, an E4A facilitator to assist your teaching staff and access to the interactive and engaging learning environment which is used to drive the day. Your teachers act as facilitators as the system challenges the students to "tweet" in their responses so that to the students it feels like they are on their favouritie social networking sites. The teachers are then free to help the students draw out the learning without having to control the delivery. This innovative learning process also gives you a CPD opportunity for your teaching staff.

To provide this totally involving learning experience the cost is £1500 plus VAT (which can be reclaimed) and if teams of 6 are used in an average sized school then the cost per learner is a competitive £8.33 plus VAT per learner.

Sometimes it is not possible to arrange a full day in the timetable and so we have divided the "Preparing for work" day into 6 modules which costs £190 plus VAT per module for up to 30 teams or learners. Each module is purchased seperately allowing you to pick and mix. Each module stands alone and lasts about an 1 hour.

The modules are:

• Setting positive personal goals
• Bad Interview video/Good Interview techniques
• How to read a job advert
• How to write a good covering letter and CV
• Interview skills
• Health & Safety Quiz

At present the Create your Own Business Challenge is not available in modules but if you have a specific interest in buying it in modules then please call us on 0845 054 2552 and we will be happy to discuss your requirements. There would be no cost to splitting it into modules, all we would ask is for your input in how you would like it to be done as we would treat the request as a development opportunity.
